Personal Teaching Philosophy
My personal teaching philosophy is to help students achieve their greatest learning potential, help them develop life-long skills by creating a fun and engaging learning environment through project-based learning and integration of technology. I also think it is imperative for my future classroom to be able to challenge students. I want to be able to watch them grow and reach their full potential as well as see their learning soar to new levels and watch them develop together and as individuals. Students are able to grow when a teacher adopts a mentoring role. When a teacher displays warmth and compassion to their students, it shows just how much they truly care about them as students and as individuals, as well as when teachers are empathetic

Students will have the freedom to express their opinions, concerns, questions, comments, likes, dislikes and so much more. They will have the freedom to use their imagination and be creative. Students will know that my classroom is a safe place to express themselves and to let out their inner creativity. Students will also be able to realize their likes and dislikes as they progress as well as begin to learn their own strengths and weaknesses, Once all this has begun to take place and myself as the teacher is able to learn more about who the children are as students rather than just individuals, lessons can be created with each students best interest in …show more content…
By supporting these special abilities, teachers can guide students through the pits of learning and the highs of learning. When students and teachers have a mutual respect for one another they are able to establish a strong relationship, leading to an incredible alliance. This allows students to feel as if they are an equal with their teachers which, then in turn creates a strong academic atmosphere. I want my classroom to be a safe and creative learning environment for all students. If a student is unable to feel safe in the classroom, mine specifically whether that be emotionally, physically, or socially, they will not be able to perform their best academically. Their level of learning will go down, as well as their desire and want to learn, and could potentially shut down all together, making it almost impossible to reach the student on a personal and academic
