Personal Narrative: Stupid Freshman
“Stupid Freshman”, are the words every freshman hears entering high school. Everything they do, is wrong no matter what. I remember entering freshman year and being so excited, that was until the first month had passed. I wasn’t scared coming into highschool because I had many friends who were already in high school. Many upperclassmen tried to warn my friends and I what to do and what not to do. As usual, we didn’t listen. As freshman we thought we were all grown up and so mature, little did we know we would need to use our conscience instead of following the crowd.
It all started freshman year. People always said, “Once you get to high school you won’t have a big group of friends. It’ll slowly shrink.” Me being stubborn and hardheaded always thought those people would be wrong, but who could’ve guessed

As freshman year progressed, we started slowly learning who to trust and who not to trust. One day my best friend since kindergarten and her boyfriend broke up. As always, she was heart broken. Me, being the best friend that I am tried to comfort her. The next day I missed school because I was sick. Big mistake because intense drama happened. Around 12:00 I get a call from my best friend saying that she found out another girl in our group was texting her ex- boyfriend! Turns out they were even a thing and the girl had been texting the boy while my best friend and him were dating. I was in shock and felt bad for her. I didn’t really know what to say or do. She then proceeded to tell me to get on twitter to see what she and my other two friends tweeted. The tweets were mean and my conscience told me this was going to be bad. I knew deep down what they were saying were just said out of anger and they didn’t mean it. After I read them she asked me to tweet as well.
