I was sweating like crazy. I mean it was in the beginning of the summer for crying out loud. I opened the door and the zombie was back in her room. I made noises so it knew I was there. It came running out of the room and I ran down the stairs, opened the door, ran outside, and hid next to the bench right outside the door. I know a lot about zombies. I've always wanted to see a zombie in real life, and I also have always wanted to be in a zombie apocalypse. This was like my dream come true. All of this had been going through my mind and while I was spacing out, zombies came running towards me and the zombie inside came out. At first it didn't know where I was, but it saw the other zombies and turned around. I knew I shouldn't scream but it was in the moment and I ... something stopped me from screaming. I ran back inside and I ran downstairs. I ran straight

These zombies gnaw and pounce as they sniff the air for any human flesh. They pound doors and windows and get agitated once confronted with 10-foot cyclone fences. Once they are shot in the head, they die. Basically that is it on the zombie’s side of view because we never get to know what they are thinking. One of the most exhilarating pleasures of this movie is the script flipping. This is definitely a twist on the century’s most popular horror. “Warm Bodies” is a nicely directed and well-placed terrific love story with a lot of…

Now I’m not exactly sure what the scientific name is or if it even technically exists but every once in a while I take an involuntary break from running things on the SS. Derek and the other shift worker takes over. I call him Lazy Carl. Now, Lazy Carl is a great guy but a terrible employee. My chickens that I cooked were ready. Then I heard a strange sound. "B-roop", Unfortunately it was my stomach that growled. I was so hungry. I took the chicken out and starting eating like a Tyrannosaurus. The taste and the smell that came from the chicken was incredible. My stone like teeth and my thin layer of tongue chewed on that piece of chicken. You could hear the sounds of chewing like Crag! It was night when I was done eating. " Its night if I don't sleep, then zombies are gonna come in and kill me",I said to myself. I went to bed as soon as I can because I didn't want any zombies to crawl into my property. A bright light shined in my eyes. A light that made me wake up and rub my eyes. "Finally The dream is over", I said to myself. But it wasn't. I was still in the same world, same house, and same spot. I went outside. "Zombies", I screamed. I was so scared that I went in my house opened my chest and took my sword out. A Zombie came in my house and started to tear my house apart. My hand was shaking. Shaking because I never experienced this much fear in my life. I closed my eyes got out of bed and stabbed the Zombie. I saw his green blood coming out of his body, and his eyes staring at me.…

Forget what you remember about your slow, shambling, rotting, flesh-eating corpses, also known as zombies. What used to be bland, boring, and not that scary are now taking the place of the “sparkly love-struck vampire” and the hugely terrifying beast of a werewolf. Thus evolving in pop culture. Zombies, from the standards that we remembered were these slow, staggering and moaning undead that could not run or jump, they could not open doors nor did they have any sense of self-awareness. But through the years these standards have changed and modified and we are left with a whole new line of zombies, many of them very dangerous. In the event of a Zombie Apocalypse one of the first things we would need to know is what type of zombie we are dealing with, your typical slow moving Romero Zombies, the more dangerous, scary, and fast Berserkers, or the “new” Self-Aware Zombie.…

For five years now I have had to put up with the sassiest, neediest, most emotionally abusive cat ever. Her name is Melia (mah-ee-ah) and I believe she has an attitude problem. Ever since we first got her she wouldn’t let us pick her up, rub her belly, or cuddle her. All she ever wanted was treats, and to sit in the most inconvenient places. We thought she would change and grow out of it, but we’ve been thinking that for half a decade now and there has been little to no improvement. Now even though she is the “family” cat, she is definitely mine. She sleeps with me and cuddles with me and doesn’t try to hurt me more than she does anybody else in the family (it really is a special bond). She likes to lay on my homework, eat my cheese, and lick…

I could hear the footsteps running up behind me and I crooked my head that way; it was my father, he was covered in blood holding a knife in one hand and a needle in the other. Tears wouldn't stop pouring out of my bloodshot eyes, I tried screaming, but nothing wasn't coming out, I tried getting on my feet as I stumbled my way down the stairs and out the door into the frosty air, which by then felt refreshing. I stopped outside the front door trying to process everything that was happening at that time, my breath was leaving my mouth in clouds into the stale air, I then felt a sharp sting in my neck, and dropped to the hard grass. Looking directly over me into my eyes was my…
