Personal Narrative: One Of My Cases
If ever a friend who was not involved with probation asked about one of my cases, I would politely inform them that my cases are confidential and that I am unable to share any information with them. I would have the same response for a friend who inquired about a case that was not assigned to me. The only time I would share information about my case load or any specific probationer, would be if a friend who was also a co-worker at probation inquired. Other than that, my cases are confidential and therefore should not be shared with anyone outside of Navajo County

    Finally, when I moved to New Orleans I started volunteer work at the Children’s Hospital and helped with pop up clinics for the Latino community twice. Overall I found that helping others shouldn't be something seen as duty or mandatory, it should be spontaneous.
