Personal Narrative: My Trip To Universal Studios
When I was younger I went with my best friend Macy to Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. I had already been down in Florida when we met up. I got there around two days before her and I was visiting my grandparents and going to Walt Disney World for Fourth of July. Sadly, we were only going to Universal Studios for one day. When we arrived at the park we were so excited. We jumped on as many rides with small lines as we could since we got there early. Our first ride was on Harry Potter, and it was the worst one. They shoved you onto the ride since it was moving. There wasn't enough room for the ride with our parents for both of us. They tried to put me onto it but I wasn't leaving her. So they got irritated but I didn't care. In the end of …show more content…
We got onto the ride and we both sat in the middle because we were nervous. Then all of a sudden our boat started turning into the wrong direction! At the time, we thought it was serious and we both had the we-are-about-to-die look. We started freaking out but then we cracked up after the ride. After the scary dinosaur ride, we met up with her parents and her brother to go take pictures with the characters. Sadly most of the characters weren't out so we only got pictures with the grinch and some other characters. We were starving after pictures so we decided to get a pretzel! I am not kidding you, this pretzel was hard as a rock! The cheese was nasty too! To show how hard it was we threw it on the ground and it broke! We were a little disappointed but we were ready to ride some more rides. Our favorite ride we rode was the Dr. Seuss water ride! It was the biggest drop ever and we loved it! Our faces were priceless in the pictures the ride took! After all of this fun, we just rode some roller coasters and the mummy ride fifty times since there was no line. Sadly after awhile it was time to go. We were so sad to leave the park, but this was the best day ever with my best

My best childhood memory is going to Six Flags. Me, Tommy, Anthony, and Connor are going to Six Flags. Their mom is taking us. I was very excited to go to Six Flags because it would be my first time going. When we finally got there. We parked the car and walked to the gates. When we got into the park. Connor wanted to ride the cyclone. Tommy and Anthony asked if I wanted to ride it. I said, “No.” but they pulled me into doing it. So, we waited in line. When we got to the front of the line. We got on the roller coaster and the ride started. When we started to go up I was nervous. When we got to the top, and as we were going down I couldn’t even hear myself scream. After the ride we rode rides around the park. Then, we went to the water park…

It was a sunny day and my mom finally let my older sister and I go to Six Flags alone. Little did I know, we weren’t going to make it to Six Flags at all? When I got on the CTT Bus I couldn’t wait- it would be my first time on the goliath. “Last stop everyone off” yelled the bus driver. When I got off I mentioned to my sister “This does not look like Six Flags” “I think we missed our stop and we are lost “she answered. I started to look for any thing I noticed. But all I saw was two large buildings and lots of people.…

The little exhausted 6 year old girl, running through crowds of people and in circles looking for her mom or just familiar faces. From riding the Mine Digger roller coaster, slipping away from my cousin for a quick snack, eventuality became separate from the group, then found by Daffy Duck and rescue by my cousin. I knew this was going to be my last trip to Six Flags. Before leaving Texas, my mom had request a trip to California to visit my great aunts and SeaWorld next…

I remember the day vividly: the sizzling of food frying, children yelling, my tears running, it was the first time I adventured to Six Flags. The uneasiness of my stomach while swaying tens of feet from the ground on the Texas Giant petrified the adventurous spirit out of me. However, I did not realize that moment `would shape the next eight years of life, emerging in my memory at every unfamiliar experience I faced. It was my senior year when I declined an invitation to go camping with my friends an epiphany struck me. How many of these opportunities was I going to skip out on due to my reluctant manner?…

We drove down in separate cars from Kentucky enduring about thirteen long hours of “fun” with my immediate family. We finally arrive in animal kingdom where we are staying in one of the Disney hotels. We get to our room and get settled in when I look out on the balcony and see giraffes, and antelopes, and peacocks walking around in my back yard. It was one of my favorite parts of this trip. We then go out to wait for the bus to take us to our first kingdom, epcot. I remember immediately being here as a child and know exactly what I want to go and do and see. Now being seventeen, I take one of my cousins and we go off on our own to see what we want to experience. We go to the science museum and learn about space and evolution which has through my high school years been very beneficial to me. Having fun and learning at the same time was great. I spend the entire next day going around to all the rides and enjoying them at least two times each. I couldn’t believe how much fun I was having. After that I went to the stores and got all the things I wanted to take back home to remember this trip…

When I went to the art museum, I had no idea that I would come into contact with one of my favorite Impressionists artists. I spent hours walking through the museum, gallery after gallery. Each piece was beautifully created. I saw portraits, prints, sculptures, all eccentric in their own way. My family, quickly paced, moved through the maze of colors with lightning speed. As for me, each one had an intricate story and detail that I was determined to learn.…

I remember counting pennies. If I wanted to buy something I would look through every draw and every coat pocket for enough spare change to buy something that I wanted. My father died from his addiction with drugs and alcohol. Not an overdose but a thrill ride that almost took someone else’s life. He lived fast and hard and died young. Me, I went home to an empty trailer in part because my mom worked and I had talked her out of going to babysitters. Looking back I think how crazy it that? In the summer I spend day and night alone unless I either spent time with my grandparents or I went to work with Mom. During the nice summer days I’d walk 2 miles by myself from my mom’s work to swim alone at the public pool. Coming from a simple background…
