Personal Narrative: My Trip To Las Vegas, Arizona
The day had finally come. Christmas break when my family would travel to Las Vegas/Phoenix Arizona.
At 10am christmas day we left for Indiana to catch a 2:30pm flight to Las Vegas, Nevada.
After a 5 hour flight we arrived at the airport in Las Vegas. Where my grandpa and grandma picked us up for another 4 hour drive to Phoenix, Arizona. Actually it was a small town outside of Phoenix, which was called “Mesa County.” We stayed in Mesa for 4 days. After which we took another 4 hour ride back to Vegas for New Years.
Las Vegas is AWESOME. Especially on new years when all the businesses are busy and the limos are all over. The best part though. THE LIGHTS!! The lights are soooo cool bright yellow and reds, greens, and blue. At night the streets

It was just a boring day in my hometown, a traditional, weak entrance a lot of narrative stories use to try to get the attention of the readers. This story, however, isn’t one of those traditional stories; this one involves a day that had been exciting up to that point already. The memory that resonates daily throughout my mind would have to be the time when I went to Six Flags for the first time in my life. Before I jump into my story, I should tell you my friends mess with each other a lot, almost to the point where we get into fights with each other.…

I went on a trip to Las Vegas for Christmas one year and it was a trip that I would never forget. When we arrived in Las Vegas we stayed in the Luxor Hotel. The Luxor in Las Vegas is a good place to go because of the luxury of the hotel, the exquisite food, and magnificent entertainment. I enjoyed staying in the famous Luxor hotel and Casino. I loved staying in the beautiful four star hotel, it was fun, and I hope to go back someday.…

I remember the day vividly: the sizzling of food frying, children yelling, my tears running, it was the first time I adventured to Six Flags. The uneasiness of my stomach while swaying tens of feet from the ground on the Texas Giant petrified the adventurous spirit out of me. However, I did not realize that moment `would shape the next eight years of life, emerging in my memory at every unfamiliar experience I faced. It was my senior year when I declined an invitation to go camping with my friends an epiphany struck me. How many of these opportunities was I going to skip out on due to my reluctant manner?…

Las Vegas is exactly what I thought it would be in so many ways. I never thought a place could live so fully up to its famous and infamous reputation. From the slot machines to the nudity. Its almost like the entire place just never found its filter. "Southern Hospitality" was null and void and I'm guessing never even heard of let alone considered. Its just the complete rawness was something I'm not used to it at all. In the south everyone is so much more conservative and worried about what they look like in other people's eyes. It just seems like everyone there was so much more worried about themselves and their own lives they didn't have time to be worried with others. There was also this sense of togetherness and understanding. Not necessarily…
