Well my hero’s journey starts off in the summer where I made my switch to LVCP, LVCP is a school in livermore california. The reason I made my switch to LVCP was due to my parents wanting me to have a better life in Livermore rather than in a Hayward school, where I would get distracted and not do my work. On Friday, August 21th, the day of Orientation, my journey began. I was enthusiastic and skittish at the time but also a little sad because i knew my summer had come to an end. The first thing that popped out when I stepped foot on campus was seeing the painting in the front of the …show more content…
Feeling happy because it was my first day of high school, sad because I had no friends especially since I lived in San Lorenzo and knew nothing about Livermore or just mad because it was school. In addition to having mixed emotions I did not have any friends, thus making it worse for me.
One of my biggest challenges was making friends and the climate in LVCP. The reason it was hard for me making friends, was because I lived in San lorenzo and I went to school all the way in Livermore and knew nothing about this city. Another reason why coming to LVCP was a challenge because the climate was terrible well for me. I never thought that Livermore can go up to 100+ degrees fahrenheit and I was never used to climates with such scorching feelin. The climate in livermore one time got me sick for how hot it got. One of my biggest challenges was making friends, But yes there was something that helped me overcome that was my soccer ball by bringing it to school. The reason a soccer ball is important, being something so simple, but to my eyes is a huge part of my friendships. I was no longer shy, it helped me overcome it. I went from not making friends to me showing off my skills by doing what I love to do and that is to play

Western and nonwestern heroes come from different regions of the world; therefore, have different cultural backgrounds. More specifically, western heroes come from the Greco-Roman or Judeo-Christian traditions. Nonwestern heroes come from other parts of the world that would not associate with these traditions.
