Personal Narrative: My Experience With Capillary Punncures
My experience with Capillary punctures was not too scary. My first two pokes had me nervous, but capillary punctures are not too bad for me. With venipunctures I was very nervous, I feel like I am struggling more now with venipunctures than the first time. I don’t get nervous when I am going in, I get nervous once my needle is inside I panic a little and freeze. I think I freeze after my needle is in because I am excited and feel rushed, so I end up messing up with the following steps.
