pepper and prostate cancer
Pepper Component Hot Enough To Trigger Suicide In Prostate Cancer.

Let’s first understand what prostate is and who does it effect and target. Symptoms and possible known cures. The prostate is a gland found only in males. It is located in front of the rectum and below the urinary bladder. The size of the prostate varies with age. In younger men, it is about the size of a walnut, but it can be much larger in older men. The prostate's job is to make some of the fluid that protects and nourishes sperm cells in semen, making the semen more liquid. Just behind the prostate are glands called seminal vesicles that make most of the fluid for semen. The urethra, which is the tube that carries urine and semen out of the body through the penis, goes through the center of the prostate.
Depending on the situation, the treatment options for men with prostate cancer may include:
◾ Expectant management (watchful waiting) or active surveillance
◾ Surgery
◾ Radiation therapy
◾ Cryosurgery (cryotherapy)
◾ Hormone therapy
◾ Chemotherapy
◾ Vaccine treatment
◾ Bone directed treatment
In this article I think a lot of information was shared on the benefits of hot peppers. In a habanera pepper there is a known substance called Caspsaicin. Caspsaicin is used to not only cause the spicy effect in pepper but it also drives prostate cancer cells to kill themselves. According to studies published in March 15 issue of Cancer Research. Now according to the team of researchers from the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, pepper component caused human prostate cancer cells to unde4rgo programmed cell death or apoptosis. When an experiment was preformed amongst a few mice, the result where evident.
Caspsaicin induced approximately 80 percent of prostate cancer cells growing in mice to follow the molecule pathways leading to apoptosis. Prostate cancer tumors treated with caspsaicin were about one-fifth the size of tumors in non-related mice.

The bladder is an organ from the excretory system. The structure of the bladder is a muscular sac. It is located above the pubic bone, and slightly behind it. The bladder can also look like a “pear” when it is empty. The bladder holds the urine that was made in the kidneys. The bladder has many layers of muscle tissue. This is so that the bladder can expand to hold more urine if needed. The pear shape that the bladder has gives it a good structure or container to hold the…

Chemotherapy is the main treatment you hear about when it comes to any type of cancer, I personally know people who have had to deal with that and it can be a struggle at times. You can also try a clinical trial with a new treatment to try and heal the disease (chronic). There's also transplants you can try such as bone marrow transplants which is where the disease commonly starts, so they often try and replace that. Then there's targeted drug therapy, it can take care of and attack vulnerabilities of the cancer to help slow it down and help the process of stopping it completely. There's also palliative care that tries to help people with the pain that Chronic lymphocytic leukemia causes (Mayo Clinic Staff). Out of all the treatments there is, chemotherapy is most common and has the highest chance of stopping the cancer, a lot of times they will make you stay at a clinical center and receive the chemotherapy treatment for weeks at a time until it is better.…

The prostate gland is a part of the male human anatomy that surrounds the neck of the bladder and urethra. Its function is to secrete a substance that makes up part of the seminal fluid that carries semen. When cells in the prostate start to replicate abnormally, a tumour will develop, and in many cases can become cancerous. Prostate cancer affects around 40,000 men per year in the UK accounting for 13% of all UK cancer diagnoses. Some prostate cancers can grow very slowly (known as low risk prostate cancers) or incredibly quickly (known as aggressive). Low risk prostate cancer sufferers, on the whole, have a higher chance of recovery due to the cancer usually being contained entirely in the prostate gland. Aggressive prostate cancer has the ability to grow and spread out with the prostate at a high speed, making early diagnosis essential to beating this cancer.…

In the past year, many medicinal benefits of marijuana have been discovered. Two scientists from the California Pacific Medical Center “found that a compound derived from marijuana could stop metastasis in many kinds of aggressive cancer” (Wilkey). One of the scientists discovered Cannabidiol, found in marijuana, also works with other types of aggressive cancers that have high levels of ID-1 present. Cannabidiol is also used to help with anxiety and nausea. Marijuana, which can also be used to help all fight obesity related diseases, contains an ingredient called THCV, and when this substance and Cannabidiol is introduced into a person’s system, it can help suppress hunger. Also, “tests in mice show the compounds boost the animal’s metabolism, [which led] to lower levels of fat in the livers and reduced cholesterol in the blood stream. THCV also increase[d] the animal’s sensitivity to insulin” (Gray).…

Prostate cancer is cancer that forms in the tissues of the prostate, a gland in the male reproductive system found below the bladder and in front of the rectum. Prostate cancer usually occurs in older men. Cancer is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. Over 20% of all deaths are caused by some type of cancer (Convergence Health, Inc, 2014). Cancer is not one disease, but a group of diseases that have in common the uncontrolled growth of cells. Any collection of abnormal cells is known as a tumor. There are basically two types of tumors. The first is called a benign tumor. This tumor consists of cells that do not spread beyond their initial location. The other type of tumor is called a malignant tumor. A tumor is considered to be malignant when the cells spread or metastasize to other areas of the body. Cancer is diagnosed when the tumor is found to be malignant and can spread to other areas of the body. Although cancer is a common chronic disease and is so intensely researched, the cause is still unknown to us. However, research has shown us how to identify people who may be at higher risk of developing specific cancers.…

Cannabidiol, also known as "CBD", is a major constituent of medical cannabis. CBD represents up to 40% of extracts of the medical cannabis plant. Cannabidiol relieves convulsion, inflammation, anxiety, nausea, and inhibits cancer cell growth. Recent studies have shown cannabidiol to be as effective as atypical antipsychotics in treating schizophrenia. In November 2007 it was reported that CBD reduces growth of aggressive human breast cancer cells in vitro and reduces their invasiveness. It thus represents the first non-toxic exogenous agent that can lead to down-regulation of tumor aggressiveness. It is also a neuroprotective antioxidant.…
