CHAPTER I: A. INTRODUCTION

The GA&P TEC requested a system that will help them in their daily record. They request us to do a payroll system with time management for their company. They make a choice for time management because they only use time card and a bundy clock for their in and out. The scope of this investigation is define both the current and the future workflow needs of their department. Upon completion of the preliminary investigation: GA&P TEC will provide department with a detailed analysis of all departmental activities and recommendation for future enhancement, both technical and administrative for consideration.

General Problem
1. Throughout the year, the GA&P TEC requires agility checks to be performed on all their employees. The current system only allows for eligibility checks to be performed at the employees’ salaries not include the time monitoring.
2. With a lack of system and distribute data, the HR department has a limited ability to quickly process real time requests for individual or employee.

1. The GA&P TEC uses Microsoft Excel for their database.
2. The GA&P TEC use only a time card and a bundy clock for their in/out system.

    I believe that the company should take some kind of action on the situation. Even though the company was at fault, Ken too should have done something rather than keep the checks that was sent to him. It is the right thing to do to return the sent checks instead of keeping something that he really did not earn. The company should talk to Ken about the checks and if he does not comply with the company, they have every right to take action and take Ken to court or other legal action. It is not right for an employee, which was terminated, to screw a company by taking their money. But on another hand, the Human Resources Department is at fault as well. It is their responsibility to make sure that such information is filed or sent to be filed so that such things like this will not happen and the company would not be losing any money whatsoever.
