Research is one of the trifocal functions of a University, which distinguishes it from colleges. Extension is the other functions, which seeks to educate the mind, body and spirit and advancement of the civil society. Through extension, it enables an individual to be connected not only to the school environment but also to outside community, extending their social responsibility.
