What does parent partnership look like?

What does parent partnership look like?

Communication – we look forward to meeting parents to understand their expectation from us as their child’s carer. We aim to set up a settling in period for children to avoid any initial separation anxiety for both children and parents. This will help us to understand at what stage your child is at with their development. This is an important factor for us, so that we can work on children’s strength and enhance their learning.
Involvement - We are keen to gain ideas and work closely with parents in order to understand each child’s full potential. We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s learning outcomes and provide a home to care book which will engage parents and involve their understanding of what their child has learnt or taken part in during their day.
ENGAGEMENT – Parent are the most important link in the partnership and their knowledge and understanding of their child will empower us as care givers to provide, understand and support their child. We would like parents to share knowledge about their children with us to help promote the best understanding for us as carers and children as learner.
