Saint José Ramón Agustín Pro Juárez, also known as Saint Miguel Pro, was born on January 13, 1891, in Guadalupe, Mexico. He was one of eleven children, the oldest boy. Sadly, four of his siblings died as babies or young children. From an early age, he was heartily spiritual, as well as mischievous; he constantly entertained his family with his humor and practical jokes. St. Miguel was a dauntless child and sometimes took his pranks and fun too far, putting him in several near-death mishaps. The third oldest in his family, St. Miguel was unquestionably very close with his older sister. After she entered a convent at age 20, he started to recognize his own calling to the priesthood. Though his father wanted him to continue with the family business, Miguel lived for God and entered the Jesuit novitiate in El Llano, Michoacán in 1911. He had been studying with the Jesuit priests for only a year when a religious revolution broke out in Mexico and by 1914, the Jesuits were forced to flee the country.…

For example, the Smith & Wesson M&P 9 has magazine capacity of 17 rounds, plus one in the chamber, while the Smith & Wesson M&P .45 can only hold 10 rounds, plus one in the chamber. The substantial difference is due to the smaller size of the 9mm round, allowing more ammunition in a magazine. Many 9mm magazines are even double-stacked, one round sitting adjacent from another, while the .45 ACP magazines are more often single-stacked, one round sitting directly on top of another. In order for the .45 ACP to carry the same number of rounds as the 9mm, manufacturers would have to create larger magazines and larger grips to accommodate them, which would affect the ergonomics of the firearm itself. In addition, the larger size of the .45 ACP causes the weapon, with a high capacity magazine, to weigh more.…

The assignment that I chose was: Research and discuss the concept of the social contract between business and society in the U.S. First I had to research what a social contract consisted of. After looking at various companies ideals of social contracts, I came to the conclusion that there is a clear expectation that businesses have an obligation to improve society’s status. The overall consensus is that businesses should have their employee’s interests at heart without having to break any rules of justice in society. Bottom line: as long as the agreements between society and businesses are ethical, their relationship will remain civil.…
