I. Summary

The story of the movie entitled “ORPHAN” is all about a 33 year old woman who has a condition called Hypopituitarism, which is a condition that stunned her physical appearance that made her, looked like a 9 year old girl. The story begins when Kate Coleman lose her third child, she was so depressed because of what happened to her child. Kate and John decided to adopt a child from an orphanage; they chose a 9 year old girl named Esther because of her skills in painting. As they arrive on their residence, Max (little sister) embraces Esther and Daniel, who doesn’t want to accept Esther as his sister because Esther gets more attention from her father, ignored her. Kate become more suspicious of Esther because of the incident happened to her classmate, but Max saw the whole thing and kept the secret for Esther. One day, Sister Abigail came to warned Kate and John that whenever Esther is around bad things happened, Esther heard what Sister Abigail said. As Sister Abigail left their house, Esther pushed Max to the path causing Sister Abigail to crash on a tree and rush over to check if Max got hurt, Esther killed Sister Abigail by hitting her with a hammer in the head, after this she convinced Max to help her to hide the hammer and the body of Sister Abigail. Kate tried to convince John about Esther’s strange doings but John didn’t want to listen and keep on believing on Esther. Daniel discovered that Esther killed Sister Abigail and found out that the hammer is hidden in his tree house, Daniel tried to retrieve the hammer but Esther found it and tried to kill Daniel by burning the tree house and leaving Daniel inside to die. Daniel escaped and fell down from the tree house, Esther tried to kill Daniel with a rock but Max stopped her, Daniel was rush on the hospital and Esther sneak out on Daniel’s room and tried to kill him again with a pillow but the doctors revived him and Kate having the feeling that Esther

    Michele was out of control swinging her arms at Elizabeth. She became violent. She began threatening Elizabeth. With the thought of death in her mind Elizabeth remembered the note that was left for her on her coffee table. The note had a mysterious handwriting and it warned Elizabeth to be careful.
