Price:
By comparison according to the reach, most comsumers refer to go to other stores to buy what they want, the statistic shows that 60% consumers go to 99 rather than KK .
The 99 store focuses on the competition in price and keep the management principle “sell quantities with low prices”.In order to achieve this goal,it manages to make a little bit profit to consumers by channels for replenishing the stock ,way for selling and the marketing expense and administrative expense. In fact,it is impossible to make sure that all commodities are much cheaper than those in other mini mart. But it is looking for “10 cents”to meet consumers’need all the time as well as to reduce the price in a doable way and provide consumers with reasonable price ,which shows 99’s management principle.
KK should keep a stable-going low price in the long run ,which can reduce the fluctuation of the consumers’meeds and is also helpful to achieve the scale of making purchase.
KK can adopt the strategy of combination of high and low price,it is low price for commidity which consumers always purchase and often compared with .And other products price may be higher than that rally adopted by the competitors. It can make its price flexible and adoptable.

Price is one of touchy factors for consumers to select goods, therefore, the competition of price is always the focus for the retailors. It is common for us to see the discount ,voucher, limition for purchase and so on .
By comparion according to the reach, it is common for consumers to enjoy various promotion in the supermarket ,but seemingly there is fewer promoting actvities in KK minimart ,in order to enter families,KK should have more information about the latest promotion maybe through advertisement or printed matters.304
As for KK mart ,it can orgnize committee activity with unique creation including the active image of the KK in the committee, also can provide the poor students with scholarship ,which can enhance the

Price – the overall sacrifice a consumer is willing to make to acquire a specific product or service. This sacrifice necessarily includes the money that must be paid to the seller to acquire the item, but it also may involve other sacrifices, whether nonmonetary, like the value of the time necessary to acquire the product or service, or monetary, like travel costs, taxes, shipping costs, and so forth, all of which the buyer must give up to take possession of the product. Value is the relationship between the product’s benefits and the consumer’s costs. The key to successful pricing is to match the product or service with the consumer’s value perceptions. In this equation, price also provides the information about the quality of products and services. A price set too low may signal low quality, poor performance, or other negative attributes bout the product or service. Consumers don’t necessarily want a low price all the time or for all products. Rather, what they want is high value, which may come with a relatively high or low price, depending on the bundle of benefits the product or service delivers.…

    Pricing Strategies

Penetration pricing strategy is defined as a pricing strategy involving the use of a relatively low entry price compared with competitive offerings, based on the theory that this initial low price will help secure market acceptance (Boone and Kurtz, p642). When a company wants to introduce a product in a market that has a lot of competition, they may choose to offer it at an introductory price that is lower than the competition (Boone and Kurtz, p643). After the initial offering, the price goes up to the current market price. This allows the company to get their product from an unknown brand to one that is easily recognized. A store promotion may be used to get customers to shop at their stores by offering low sales or low to zero interest. Everyday low pricing is linked to penetration pricing strategy. With everyday low pricing retailers continuously offer low prices rather than relying on sales or rebates (Boone and Kurtz, p643). Retailers pledge to have the lowest prices. If they do not have the lowest price, they will price match their competitors.…
