2. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY.
It is very interesting to analyze the leadership styles of these 2 renowned people who came from different backgrounds and personalities succeeded in their career and become one of the most prominent figures in the world. In this study, we will analyze their leadership qualities and evaluate their leadership styles that contributed to their success. Their determination and hard efforts continues to be an inspiration for every person. Bill Gates is a visionary, a natural entrepreneur with marketing talent, as well as a leader who pays attention to innovation. Through his leadership skills, Bills Gates has led Microsoft to be one of the most successful company on the planet, and has reached the position of becoming the world's richest man. On the other hand, Oprah Winfrey is the most renowned woman in America who has used her leadership skill to overcome adversity to become a benefactor to others. Her decisions to constitute her own destiny and self-confidence have made her the perfect role model for any women in the world. Her leadership qualities that she possesses have placed her to be one of the most influential people in the world. The mega-success of these 2 leaders has led the writer to evaluate the qualities and leadership styles been demonstrated and understand the lessons that can be drawn from them.

3. INTRODUCTION.
The understanding of leadership in the past several decades had undergone a revolution in how the leadership is defined and their attitudes towards it. They had gone from a very classical autocratic approach to a very creative, participative approach. There isn’t any right or wrong approach in Leadership and educational background itself is not a key factor. Different styles were needed for different situations and each leader needed to know when to exhibit a particular approach. The leaders who makes the right decision at the right time will succeed in this arena. Determining the qualities and characteristics of effective leaders can be difficult to grasp definitively. The business world is full of examples of leaders and as such, this paper will analyze and critically review the leadership qualities and the leadership styles of two great personalities – “the founder of Microsoft Cooperation” Bill Gates and “the famous American Television host, producer and philanthropist” Oprah Winfrey.
