Oh The Places I Ll Go Analysis
“Oh the places you’ll go,” (Dr.Suess). In 6th grade, it may be tough at first, but it will become easier as you go. Since I have become the 6th grade, I have become more responsible, gained more friends, and gained more homework.

In 6th grade, I have way more responsibilities than in 5th grade. I need to get to class on time or I’ll get a tardy and if I get 4 or more I’ll have to go to lunch detention and trust me that’s not fun. I also have to be prepared or I’ll get a tardy and with a tardy and lunch detention, it’s the worst day ever. OMG don’t get me started on locker things I wanted to get all this junk in my locker like wallpaper, magnets, a mirror, and a chandelier, but I broke my chandelier, lost some of my magnets, and my mirror smashed. For next year I’m getting a shelf, I repeat just a shelf. I also have a gym locker combo and if I’d picked band or orchestra I’d have 3 locker combos. This may seem like too much, but there were a lot of great teachers to help me to help open my locker.

These past few years at Lionville Middle School have been some of the most memorable and exciting parts of my life. I came to Lionville Middle School from Shamona Creek Elementary. Shamona Creek elementary was much smaller than the gargantuan, new middle school. Also, there were so many more students and teachers. I expected the middle school to be filled to the brim with classrooms and I was correct. Some of my first memories here are quietly coming into the school and looking for my classroom. I did not even know where to go or how to get there. All around I saw kids getting to their classes right away, while I was stuck in the hallways. Fortunately, I saw a friend and followed him toward my new classroom. When I got my new locker, I had…

In the first few pages of The Most Good You Can Do, Singer introduces us to Matt Wage, who chose to enter a career in finance in order to donate more money. Singer encourages people to “[choose] the career in which they can earn the most, not in order to be able to live affluently, but so they can do more good.” Effective Altruism is entirely focused on the consequences of their actions, and with regards to donations, how to maximize the consequences over time. It is with this goal in mind that I will not donate to any charities.…

But as I go by, I perceived that life isn’t that unfair! It’s unfair to everyone and that makes it fair. After it, I got my fifth place back but suddenly I slipped it again when I was on my fifth grade.
