Nursing Careers Health Care Careers are the mostly growing industry in the USA because there is a high demand on health care professionals like Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). These two jobs are the main health careers that are mostly used more frequently because they do majority of the responsibilities in the health care work place. That’s why they say go into the health care career because you’ll never be without a job. This careers will never fall off the high demand list because we need them in our daily living. While researching CNA’s and LPN’s I learned so many new things that I didn’t know before and how much these two health careers differentiate in the duties that they take up. Therefore, in the couple of paragraphs it will go more in detail how much these jobs are needed. CNA’s and LPN’s are categorized in two different job duties as the state requires it. CNA’s are required to do the job duties that they are certified to do and LPN’s can only do what they are certified to do also but they also can do CNA work also. The job duties of an certified nursing assistant is to provide patients’ personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves. They also provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary. CNA’s do the majority of the assisting the patients with daily living and their job is the most difficult because they most keep the patient comfortable. Licensed Practical Nurses work under RN’s and physician. The job duties of a licensed practical nurse is to monitor patients health condition, catering the hygiene needs of patient, assist in patient’s medical examination, and guiding patient’s family for patient’s aftercare. These jobs are so different in so many ways that’s why you must understand the difference between the two. Therefore in the following paragraph I will be talking about the skills that each health care needs to
