Nurse Leadership Reflection
A portion of nurse leadership is the ability to assess or view the patient in a holistic manner. This leadership role allowed me to gain confidence in my assessment abilities. With an increase in confidence came an enhanced assessment. This enhanced assessment gave me the opportunity to view the client’s needs within the context of her lifestyle. This incorporation of the client’s lifestyle allowed for a better fusion of her physical health, mental health, spiritual health, functionality, and other needs. This allows me to share in the power of treatment decisions with the client, allows me to increase my leadership abilities, with the increased quality of professional assessment skill building.
