Nt1310 Unit 1 Assignment
The first assignment I have chosen to do my reflection on is the module three newspaper article assignment. I chose this assignment because this module really got me thinking about the type of media we absorb based on external influences. Since the lead comes first in the inverted pyramid format, the reader does not have to take a long time to read the story in order to get a good understanding of what the story is about. Therefore, many would choose to read a newspaper story when they do not have a lot of time on their hands. I enjoyed doing this assignment as I like the concept of taking an iconic fictional story and converting it into a format that makes it appear as if it were non-fictional. It made the creation process entertaining and …show more content…
I realized that I am constantly finding myself just reading the first few lines of a news story, yet getting enough information so that I can discuss it with others. If I had a chance to redo this assignment, there is not much I would change. The one thing I would change would be to remove the part where I wrote “(pictured above)”, since I later on learned from the feedback that people do not often read in the brackets. The second assignment I have chosen for my reflection is the module seven PSA assignment. I have chosen to include this assignment because it was interesting to learn about the different elements of PSAs, as I grew up seeing them, but never knew all of the components that go into them. I liked that this particular assignment gave you a platform to speak up about an issue that you believe matters. While doing this assignment, I learned about the tactics used while making a PSA that ensure it appeals to specific audience. I also learned a lot about the specific issue I chose to do the project on and how many issues there are that should gain more support from the media. I was very pleased with the outcome of my PSA, so I would not change anything if I had the opportunity to redo

In a bus configuration, each computer in the network is responsible for carrying out its own communications without the help of a central unit. A common communications cable (the bus) connects all of the computers in the network. As data travels along the cable, each unit performs a query to determine if it is the intended recipient of the message. The bus network is less expensive than the star configuration and is thus widely in use for systems that connect only a few microcomputers and systems that do not emphasize the sharing of common resources.…

An operating system (OS) is an interface between hardware and user which is responsible for the management and coordination of activities and the sharing of the resources of the computer that acts as a host for computing applications run on the machine. As a host, one of the purposes of an operating system is to handle the details of the operation of the hardware. 2. No I do not feel that inheritance violates the principle of equality of opportunity and abolishing it would not promote productivity or an even distribution of income. While everyone may not have the same opportunities in life, those who have been able to become successful and wealthy with out inheritance have worked hard to achieve their wealth. To tell some one that they can’t leave their hard earned belongs to family is violating ones right of freedom, life and pursuit of happiness. Not only that, by allowing the government to take over peoples property; doesn’t mean that productivity will increase or that the funds will be distributed evenly among Americans. This theory of abolishing inheritance doesn’t seem to have any correlation…
