North Korean Nuclear Bomb Testing
North Korea has had five successful nuclear bomb tests. What is unsure of these tests is the nature of the bomb. An atom bomb uses nuclear fission. This splits atoms of radioactive elements and releases energy. On the other hand, hydrogen bombs use nuclear fusion and fuse together hydrogen atoms. This releases much more energy, thus making a stronger bomb. North Korea is also working on an I.C.B.M. which stands for Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile.
