Norma Scrum Term Paper
I will first start by explaining who Michael James is. He is a software process mentor as well as a team coach, and Scrum Trainer that specializes on the engineering practices that allow Agile project management practices. Michael James is also a very successful software developer. He has experience in programming since the late 1970s, some that stick out are control systems for airplanes and spaceships. Many of these aircrafts are some of the most high quality and greatest systems that were ever built. Actually, if you have even taken a airplane or been on a spaceship there is a very big chance that you have already used Michael's software.

Michael's automated test experience anticipates the "eXtreme Programming" movement. He ended up being selected by Ken Schwaber as a Scrum Trainer which was Scrums original proponent. Some of his clients included Fortune 500 companies etc. It is said that he grabbed the attention of upcoming companies by his bold objectives.

Although doing Scrum normally has conflict with the existing habits that go on at established non-Agile organizations. Scrum has three roles which are Product Owner, Team, and Scrum Master. In the Scrum Training series by Michael James, these are all described.

The traditional project manager role responsibilities are split up into three Scrum roles. Scrum has five meetings: Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, the Sprint Review Meeting, and the Sprint Retrospective Meeting.
