Nike Air was the first technology Nike put into their shoes. It was a different way to have cushioning in a shoe. It has been put into a lot of the Nike shoes since. It was said it would make you jump higher and run faster. Its been over 20 years since its creation and its still going strong. (Sneakerhead)
Nike Max Air/ Air Max

Nike Air Max or Max Air provedes maximum cushion. The air pocket in the heel was now used for the mid and front of the foot. The air max 360s have air in the whole bottom of the shoe. This way it takes away the stress being put on your legs and feet and puts it into the air pocket.(Sneakerhead)
Nike Zoom Air/ Air Zoom

Nike zoom air or air zoom has a little bit of nike air in the shoe. This technology keeps you lower to the ground and gives you better maneuverability.
Nike Zoom Air is used mostly for basketball shoes.(Sneakerhead)
Nike Shox

with good cusioning as well.The Nike Shox were introduced in 2001. I remember looking at these for the first time at runners supply in Strongsville. I thought they looked stupid, but now they are some of the coolest shoes you can get. The shox are supposed to slightly give you spring when you run (Sneakerhead)
Nike Free

The Nike Free makes it so you feel like your running barefoot. You might think, "If you are running barefoot then where is the cushion?" Actually there is a good amount of cushion. These shoes are really flexible. The Free takes the pressure from the landing of your foot and distributes it all around, so your feet and legs don't get a lot of stress.(Sneakerhead)
Nike Flywire

Nike Flywire Is a super light material that gives great structure. They use it in racing spikes, basketball shoes, and running shoes. It gives you structure and support on your foot where you need it. Nike can make the lightest shoes they have ever made with this new technology. They did make the lightest spikes ever, and I have a pair.
