If you love to play the game of basketball you probably know how fast it can be sometimes. In that case it involves you to be quick on your feet and what it the perfect thing to be that way, wear low top basketball sneakers. For many they choose high tops because they can help a little bit more with not rolling your ankle. Although low tops can do the exact same. Really in conclusion, low top sneakers are better for athletes.

First off low tops are guaranteed to be lighter. Nowadays they are made with light materials such as mesh and foam inside the shoe and plastic just below your ankle. Plastic is a great way to get ankle support by wearing low tops. Since the shoes are so light, they are even better on the court. You are quicker on your feet. You can get down the court faster than others

Thanks again to the padded mesh or foam inside the show. With great padding, low top sneakers have shown that they can withstand sharp cuts and not allow ankle injuries to the players. The padding in the sneaker is usually very firm especially around the ankle part. The ankle part of the shoe is often padded to give the necessary ankle support to the player. If the shoe didn’t have this mandatory padding, the players who wore those shoes would have extreme ankle injuries that may affect their basketball careers.

In spite of the low prices of low top sneakers, there can be a wider selection of those shoes. It has been shown that many low tops are less expensive than say a shoe with padding that goes past your ankle. For example, according to Nike.com, a pair of Nike low tops would cost you $110 will a pair of Nike high tops cost $140. There is also the need to wear the shoes of celebrities. Shoe brands who have contracts with basketball stars often make their shoes low top. The brands do this to one sell more because they cost less and the fact that low tops look better with other clothing than say a pair of high
