The school Newport Preparatory Academy are suggesting making the school lunch for the kids that want to buy the school food. Most schools buy the food but here at the Newport Preparatory School we want to let culinary conservatory do it. At the Newport Preparatory Academy we think that we might do that but not with all the food that we make. In this quote you will how schools would feed the students “ which took effect in 2012, they are no longer served greasy pizza, salty French fries and sauced up chicken wings.” This quote supports my claim because schools used to give the students just junk food. There is a reason why they took that away and it’s because it is really unhealthy for the kids. This quote shows how kids don’t eat school lunch anymore “Meals must now be lower in fat, calories and sodium and contain lean proteins, more fruits and vegetables and whole grains. And kids from coast to coast are wrinkling their noses.” The problem with the school's changing the lunch is that the kids make their faces that they don’t want it and throw it away and that is wasting food that people would want. Another thing is that the kids will stop buying the food and we won’t have money to do lunch and that would be bad for our school.
