National Security Council Report 68 Nsc-68

The National Security Council Report 68-(NSC 68) was presented to the president Harris S. Truman on April, 4 1950. The report was a group effort, created with input from the Defense Department, the State Department, the CIA, and other interested agencies; NSC-68 formed the basis for America’s Cold War policy for the next two decades. The USA Patriot Act is an law that fights against terrorist, started by the U.S. Congress in October 2001, by President George W. Bush. The major cause was to respond to the terrorist attacks that took place on Sept. 11, 2001.The first priority is to prevent future terrorist attacks in the United States.
