National Honor Society Essay
I am deeply honored with the opportunity to become a member of National Honors Society. As a student with a 4.3 grade point average, this has always been something I have looked forward to. My grades are my top priority. Classmates in school admire me and call me “smart”, I, in the other hand, do not think of myself as smart. To be more precise, I think of myself as a student that has taken the opportunities given and has used them wisely. I have gave every class my best, and have tried to do all things to the best of my ability. I feel that I am a hard worker. I am a one hundred percent dedicated to anything I am a part of. From Elementary school to my present grade in High school, I was involved in different group works and stayed after …show more content…
I have gave every class full dedication no matter how much I did not like it. My goal is to make it through the rest of my high school years with all A’s on my report card. Math is my favorite subject with has helped me Gage my focus on a career path. I would like to be a certified public assistant and hopefully work in a corporate office. The only way for me to achieve this is to go to college. I am hoping to get close to a full ride to college because my parents cannot afford it. My grades are also very important to be because I would like my younger family members to follow in my foot steps. They will see that I worked hard, and then maybe they will to.
The expectations I have set for my self are very important to me. I would consider myself to possess all four of the pillars: Leadership, Service, Character, and Scholarship. I express these qualities abundantly by participating in church. I take pride is all things I do and I hope I will able to do so in National Honors Society. There is so much I have to offer, considering how far I have gotten. National Honors Society will help me extend my skills in order to achieve my goals and get to where I deserve to

The ease of maintaining a balanced schedule whilst also upholding these characteristics may not be the simplest of tasks at times, even for the best students, although the drive to strive for this essence sets individuals apart from the majority. I believe that in my everyday life, I demonstrate these ideals and would heartily enjoy guiding others in them. To be exercise any of these qualities requires one’s own desire, a desire which I not only try to instill into myself, but into others as well. Being part of the National Honor Society would not only be an honor in and of itself, but an honor which is able to transcend its membership and let a person such as myself try to better the school, town, and familial communities by doing good in each of them.…

They have not only embodied who I strive to be, but have helped me achieve success and impact throughout my local community and my time as a national honor society member. Scholarship has helped me define not only who I am as a student, but has helped me prepare for my future. Without my drive to maintain my academics and pursue knowledge, I would not have discovered my love and passion for teaching. This newly discovered passion has helped me narrow down my future career, special education. Service, has helped me develop one of my individual characteristics, as I now understand the importance…

Scholarship has taught me to strive to be the best student I can be. I use scholarship to keep up with my school work and never give up when a class is hard. I always strive for the best grade I can get and I will stop at nothing until I reach my goal. I will continue to use scholarship as I go to college and pursue my dream as a pediatric dentist. Being a member in National Honor Society implies that you are a person of great character. One of the most important qualities that you can possess is leadership. Honesty is one of the key factors to being a good leader. You must be honest towards everyone, and in everything that you do. If a leader wasn't honest, then no one would trust them. And if they weren't trustworthy then who would want to follow their lead? Leadership also requires that you have an optimistic attitude about everything. You have to take control, and look for the best in every situation. No one wants to follow someone who is always in a bad mood, and always looks for something to complain about.…
