My story
My ultimate goal is to work at the financial department in a bank. I believe knowing more about the banking systems and how banks work makes me one step closer to my goal. This special experience allows me to understand more working details about bankers, as well as differences between job positions. Furthermore, I am aware of how important the location of the bank is. I notice that although bank in developed city might have a higher salary and better employee benefits, it is very competitive. However, working in a national bank in a smaller city would have higher opportunity to be promoted. I feel like this would be better for my career in the long run. These understandings help me set a more specific outline to achieve my dream. In addition, I have a much clearer direction about what kind of bank and which position I should seek for during my job search. In order to be more competitive in this area, I would enhance the personalities and skills that my goal needs. I will improve myself in all directions and definitely go for it.My ultimate goal is to work at the financial department in a bank. It was a perfectly normal Saturday night, until I sat on the couch. I expected to enjoy a funny movie with my dad, but instead I got a trip to the hospital. I sat on the couch, and then I felt a sting in my elbow. At first, it felt like I got a shot at the doctor, but it slowly got worse, and felt more like a knife slicing into my elbow. I winced and sprung up from the couch. I squinted and my eyes scanned the spot where I just sat down. Aha, I thought. There was a small piece of plastic, and it looked like it broke off from a container.…

My objective in the following paper is to reflect on my previous experiences of instances of voicing and acting on my values in the workplace. I am going to do this by first writing about an instance in my career when management gave me an assignment that went against my values and I spoke up and did something about it. I will then reflect back to my decision by first discussing what I did and what the impact was, I will discuss what motivated me to speak up and how satisfied I am with the decision, and finally I will discuss a few things that may have made my decision easier, some of which I could have controlled and some of which I could not have.…

Soccer is the most exciting game I've ever played in my life. Strategy, skills, tricks, position , fun, and excitement when combined with each other make this a beautiful game. At the age of ten, for the first time I touched the ball with my feet and it was like the best feeling I ever had towards any sport and after then we used to play this game every day on streets .Wait a minute on STREETS ? Yes, a solid rock ground with no cushioning of grass and the stones plays the role for the pole. Rules were pretty simple the fattest one would be a goalkeeper, a goal would be awarded if the ball crosses between the stones, no corner or outside, no referee and if there is a referee and he gives red card there would be a huge chance he'll end up getting beat up. There were only two ways by which match can be stopped, the first one is when all the players got tired and the second one, if a ball's owner is offended, he takes the ball home and the match is over. I grew up playing soccer and watching soccer, basically soccer was my addiction.…

How could such a harmless adventure turn into something so tragic? As a seventeen year old girl, I still refused to attempt roller blading. My parents bought me multiple pairs of roller blades that went to waste. I was terrified I would collapse and break my arm or end up with a concussion. Then, one day I decided to face my fears. I strapped on my roller blades, along with my helmet and wrist pads and braced myself for a moment I would never forget.…

The first monument is the St. George's Church, a former parish church founded in 1802 and closed in 1990 and It’s located at Hardwicke Place. This church then became the Temple Theatre, then a night-club. Further attempts were made to raise public funds for its restoration in 1991, to celebrate Dublin's role as European City of Culture, and later from the Millennium Committee. In 2004 a restoration and renovation turned it into office facilities.…

Taekwondo originated in Korea about 2,000 years ago. It was developed as a form of unarmed self-defense to go along with skills with weapons. According to the World Taekwondo Federation the first recorded evidence of this martial art was found in a tomb from the Koguryŏ Kingdom (37 BCE to CE 668), in a mural showing figures practicing martial arts techniques. Historical records from this period indicate that there were taekwondo tournaments. Taesoo, kwonbak, kongsoo, bakhi, and dangsoo are all names for early forms of what is now known as taekwondo. Soobak was the mainstream form between CE 600 and 1400; starting in the late 1300s this was renamed taekyon. Taekyon was the main Korean martial art form until 1909, when Japan invaded and occupied Korea. Between 1909 and 1945, Korean culture and martial arts were suppressed and the Japanese culture and martial arts were introduced. When the Japanese were defeated in 1945, the modern period of taekwondo began. Korean martial arts masters began discussions on how to return to the original taekyon style and on how to merge the different martial arts schools called kwans, into a single style and national sport. Finally, in April 1955, the masters from the different kwans chose the name taekwondo. Taekwondo was accepted as an official sport in 1975 by the U.S. Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). Today, taekwondo is a fast-growing international art and competitive sport and is practiced in more than 190 counties worldwide. It was a demonstration sport at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea, and became a medal sport in 2000 at the Sydney Games, for men and women. Choi Hong Hi, known as General Choi,…

This was our first destination. I felt very amazed with what I saw for it comprises a very wide sedimentary basin, as what people there said. Even though I’m far from the speaker (can’t hear much!), I’ve gained something. That Metro Iloilo Water Distribution extracts its supply from Tigum River through an intake dam constructed in Barangay Daja, Maasin. From the dam, raw water is conveyed by gravity through a pipeline to a sedimentation basin in barabgay Buntalan, Maasin. As soon sedimentation process takes places, clean surface water flows down to an overflowing channel connected to the outlet basin passing through chlorination chamber where chlorine is adopted to sterilization. Well, aside from those I’ve mentioned, I heard nothing more because all of us were already busy taking pictures while touring the place. All of us were so excited to take pictures with friends in that place. It was my first time to visit such water plant and I was so glad with the idea that I’ve somehow gained something and took pictures of it.…

As an ex-sportsman I know about sport a lot. It was really good and unforgettable time. That's why I'll tell you my story from the very beginning. I was about twelve years old when our lesson was visited by my future coach. He asked us about our wish to attend his training. I was curious about it and decided to go there. Believe or not but I spent there more than half of my present life and have no regrets. Mostly, there was very hard training but with a bit of fun. There I found lots of friends who I meet even at present. And also it helped me with my school, technical and university education. Because I was a member of our regional team whether it was Kursk or Moscow.…
