My Journey through High school.
As I walked through the halls on the first day of school, I was frantically trying to get to my classes on time and alive. I was bumped, shoved, knocked down, and stepped on, but I enjoyed every minute of it. High school was so new to me, and it still is. I was very excited and nervous about my freshman year. I am sure my journey through high school will someday, be a great story to tell.
It was my freshman year. I was one of the smallest people in the halls, so trying to get to class was a huge struggle. I pushed my way through the sluggish upperclassman, and barely made it to my class. Next to being the "baby" in the school, my grades were slipping. I was frustrated and stressed. I had to study like I have never studied before, and my social life had completely disappeared. I had no time to hang out with my friends, and I barely even had time to go to church. As the weeks went on, I finally got a hold of myself. I pulled up my grades and learned my way around. I met new people, made new friends, and had a ton of fun! My freshman year was a success! Summer was right around the corner. The time had come for me to get my learners permit. As I stood in line, my hands were sweating and my feet was tapping. I knew the law like the back of my hand, but I was still extremely anxious. When the test was finally over and I was waiting for the results, I couldn't sit still. The secretary announced my name, and I jumped. Once I got to the counter, she congratulated me by handing me my learners permit. Adrenaline rushed through me as I strolled through the parking lot and into the driver's seat of the car. With my mom by my side, I drove away into my sophomore year.
