My high school career has been rough. I didn’t participate in any extracurricular activities, sports, etc. The only thing I did in my spare time was an after school job. Now that I am preparing myself for college, I realize that I missed out on many opportunities to stand out and improve on participation. I know that colleges look for students who stand out and participate in extracurricular activities; unfortunately, I am not one of those students. My high school career wasn’t anything like what I wanted it to be. I wanted to play as many sports as I possible and maintain at least a 3.4 GPA; that didn’t happen.
