"My First Kiss"
A girl's first kiss, whether good or bad, is an experience she never will never be able to forget. At age twelve I had never had a serious relationship with a guy, although it seemed as though every girl my age had already kissed several guys. It really hadn't bothered me, because I really wasn't interested in any of the guys I knew at that time. Then, when it seemed as though I would never find a guy I would be interested in, I met Blake Sadler.

Blake and I first met through my cousin Amber. One night, when she was spending the night with me, she decided to call Blake. After she talked to him for a few minutes she handed me the phone. I was amazed at how comfortable I felt talking to him. He had a very outgoing personality, which made it easy to carry on a conversation with him.

A few weeks later I was able to meet him in person. He was approximately 5'10" and 135 pounds. His hair was black and his eyes were a beautiful sea green. Overall I did not find him extremely attractive, but his personality made up for it. A few weeks after we started talking though, he asked someone else out. I was disappointed at first, but his seeing this other girl brought us closer as friends.

One day after he had been seeing that girl for a few months, Blake called me and told me that they had broken up. I felt sorry for the girl, but I also felt that I finally had a chance to see where things would go between us. A couple weeks later he asked me out, and of course I said yes.

During our first month of dating he invited me to a Mardi Gras dance at his school. I was ecstatic; it would be our first real date. Even though I was excited about the dance, at the same time I was nervous. What would I wear? How would I fix my hair? What if he tried to kiss me; would I be a good kisser?

The night of the dance finally arrived. My hair was pulled up halfway with curls spiraling down my shoulders. I had a short-sleeved black velvet mock-turtleneck on with a black and gray gingham skirt.

As my mom and dad were taking me to meet Blake at the school, I was still nervous wondering if I would get my first kiss. When we pulled up to the school, Blake was waiting for me. He looked so handsome in his black suit. After I got through saying goodbye to my parents, Blake put his arm around me and led me to the gymnasium. As we walked into the gym I noticed that the other girls were wearing formals. I was so embarrassed. Blake told me that I looked beautiful, which made feel much better.

Then, after talking for a few songs, he asked me if I would like to dance. The first song that we ever slow danced to was " A Long December" by Counting Crows. It was during this song that Blake leaned down and gently pressed his lips up against mine. I wished that that moment would never end.

Even though my relationship with Blake eventually came to an end, the memories of my first boyfriend and my first kiss will always remain with me. There have been other kisses since that kiss, but I will always remember my first kiss as the best kiss I have ever experienced.

Once we arrived in Kelowna, we were able to stay with Lyndees girlfriend. Since it was a Monday, not much was open, so we ended up walking over to a place just down the street from where we were staying. I remember feeling guilty for missing work, but I told myself to make the most of it, and just have fun. As i was getting a drink - a guy accidently bumped into me, and spilled his drink. He apologized a few times, and said that his friends and him would like to buy us a drink as an apology. I told him that it wasn't necessary and that his apology was more than enough. As I was about to walk away - a tall, blond hair, blue eyed guy walked up, and introduced himself as Brad. He was wearing a bright blue shirt, dark jeans and white shoes. I will never forget the feeling I got, when I seen him for the first time. I tried not to make it obvious, and I've never admitted this before, but I was mesmerized.…

Like I said I met him at a very young age. I was only about fourteen at the time. It was late September the leaves had begun to fall heavily. My family was attending a festival. Seeing as I didn’t have any friends I wondered around aimlessly for a while. I was in line at the concession stand when he walked up behind me. “Buona sera”, I said (Italian for good evening.) “Ciao”, he replied. I bought a gelato and turned to walk away when he tripped me and I spilled my gelato on my clothes. I looked back at him when I realized exactly who he was.…

I was in the sixth grade when I first met my best friend Jamilex. Jamilex and I were really close, we did everything together; our homework, went to the movies, hung out in the park, and often went her house where we had conversations about guys. We tried to spend time together as often as possible, because we didn't see each other during school hours since she attended a different junior High school. We saw each other every day after school to do homework together. I never thought I would finally meet a true friend but you know what they say, "Never say Never". I tried to do my best to keep her happy and be there for her when she needed a shoulder to cry on. Jamilex and I were so different but at the same time so alike. Her favorite color…

It all began with shopping. First with my girlfriends over the years, goofing off on trips to the mall trying on gorgeous flowing gowns for fun, and then it was finally time for me to buy one, finally a formal occasion where I got to dress up in a fancy gown with high heels, my Mom took me to the mall. Even though it wasn’t quite prom, it was still a formal dance, a celebration of completing middle school and entering into high school. While I shopped with my Mom I could sense her excitement for me. It was exciting and special for her to see her little girl growing up. We shopped and shopped, I must’ve tried on a hundred dresses until I found the perfect one. It was pink with tiny embroidered flowers all over. I completed my look with strappy silver heels, silver jewelry and a hand bag.…
