We hear people tell us about how some significant event or person in their lives came along and changed everything. We also hear of some fantastic revelation someday up on the mountain, or a close encounter with nature, even a brush with some insane disaster, bringing the person onto the doorstep of death. Most people quote extraordinary event that is very unique to them and hear about how that something have come to have a great impact on their lives, changing the very manner in which they view life and perceive it. My story might not be anything spectacular, but for me it has been the one most singularly amazing event of my life.…
In the poem “My Ex-Husband” by Gabriel Spera the main character displays hate for her husband, which in time reveals her love for him. The hateful tone in the poem contributes to the fact that she dislikes her husband, but at the same time she is stuck in the past, which keeps her from moving on.…

When I first met the guy I couldn't stand him. At the time I didn't know his name, and it didn't matter. I mean, he was just the guy who was helping us move into our apartment. It's not like I thought that my mom would end up marrying the guy or anything.…

My present situation is being an unemployed, full-time student. School is my main priority, because I know I need a good education to help me find and maintain the career I want, but It's somewhat hard to focus on school because of how stressed I get over not having a job, or any source of income coming in. There are so many things I need to pay for and so much I need to help my parents out with. Dropping out of school is out of the question. I'm gonna stay in school no matter what. I just need to find a way to find a job and balance school, as well as maintain my stress.…
ver heard the saying, “blood is thicker than water”? If yes, you know it means no bond is tighter than your family. In our families we love, serve, teach, and learn from each other. We share our joys and our sorrows. Family ties may bring us difficult challenges, but they also give us strength and some of our greatest happiness. Through my own personal perspective, if you don’t have family, you don’t have anything. Thinking to yourself, you have it all, each time you see them cross your path. Blood makes you related, loyalty makes you family.…
Many years ago, my uncle was diagnosised with a terminal heart condition. He was put on permanent disability and was unable to work at a steady job. He would be fine for quite a while, but he would then fall ill suddenly and have to be admitted to the hospital. Although the disease brought him a lot of pain, he was still hopeful. His positive attitude influenced me to be optimistic and kind.…

> First and foremost, I want to describe about the characteristics of my father that I love so much. Everyone in this world has their own father and surely they also have their own opinion about the characteristics of their beloved father. So do I, I also has my own opinion about the characteristics of my father that I impressed from I am kids until who I am today. He is an open-minded and a patient person because if I want to share anything to my father, he will listen carefully on what I want to talk about and after that he will try to give the best solution to me to solve the problem. After that, he is good disciplinarian because my father loves his children but he does not let we get away with murder. He strongly disapproves of his children's misdeeds, using tough love to prove a point. He does this through the power of his words, not his fists. Furthermore, he is a firm father too because when he set a rule, he still give we a little freedom to break it with a rational reasons.…
Electronic mail, also known as email or e-mail, is a method of exchanging digital messages from an author to one or more recipients. Modern email operates across the Internet or other computer networks. A story written about a very special man that could always put a smile on your face, my grandfather. He had taught me several life long lessons that I hope to use everyday during my life and teach my children later on in their childhood. My grandfather was not a very wealthy man but if any family/friend asked for a favor my pap was there to give his assistance where it was needed.…
My father has had a significant influence on me and my life. I was only two when my mother died, and although I don’t remember how it impacted my father, I know it must have been devastating for him. He could have given up on life and thrown it all away, but he didn’t. He struggled through these hard times, but continued for me. He showed me what determination was when he got up every day to an empty bed, a house with ghostly memories of her and my face as a reminder of what she looked like. He went to work and made a living to put food on the table and a roof over our heads. I have never seen someone as hardworking as he is. He still raised me and taught me the values of life. Everything he does comes back to me. He is the reason I am here today. When I am older and have a family of my own, I hope that I will be able to show them the love he showed for me. I hope that I will be able to work as hard as my father did and will be able to show the determination for my family as I go through life’s daily struggles. When I face a problem nowadays, I always think of my father and how he would handle it. I try to be strong and face the problems knowing that it could be worse. I am determined and never give up on my goals, just like my father. I will remain determined, hardworking, strong and loving for him because I know he wants me to. As I look at him today, I see the tired, stressed and worried lines indented into his forehead and only hope that I will be able to repay him for all that he has done for me, to be able to thank him for not giving up on his life and mine.…
