Murdock Mansion; a Horror Story
Once upon a time in a town called Murdock, there lived a boy named Oliver. One day Oliver and his friends decided to go to a house outside of the town, which was said to be haunted.

On the night of 11/04-1938, Oliver gathered his friends and started walking towards the building with alot of courage.
Upon arrival they were shocked of how big the house was. On a sign it said; Murdock Manor. Without thinking Oliver and his entourage walked towards the building.

The walls of the old building were made of concrete, which were cracked and crumbling. They tried to open the door. but it didn’t even move, like if there was something holding it. This wouldn’t stop Oliver though. The windows a couple of footsteps from the door were broken and there was shards of glass lying all over the ground. They decided to climb through a window instead of trying to open the door.

When they got inside the building, Oliver shuddered. The house was very dirty, and old. There was a very foul smell coming from upstairs. As they dusted themselves off, Oliver looked up and was shocked to see that someone had written the words “WE ARE DEAD” on the ceiling.
“Don’t worry, it’s probably just some teenagers that wants to scare us”, Oliver said.
“Yeah, probably…”, his friends replied.

Whilst exploring one of the rooms on the ground floor, Oliver found another writing on the wall. It read “WE ARE UPSTAIRS”. He became a little frightened but didn’t want to show his fear. After a short discussion whether to go up or not, they decided to go up to the second floor.

When they reached the top of the stairs, Oliver turned right and walked very slowly down the narrow hallway. On the walls there were portraits of people and families who used to live in this building. Oliver felt like they were staring at him, but he wasn’t scared by it. When reaching the end of the hallway, they were met by a closed door with another writing on it which said “YOU WILL FIND US IN THIS ROOM.”

Dodge was kind enough to talk to him and take him where Dodge lives. The house belongs to a guy named Fagin, he is a chubby Jewish guy who takes in many orphaned children. He enjoys cooking and taking care of the children. While Dodge introduces everyone to Oliver, a woman named Nancy introduces herself to Oliver and she helps Fagin take care of the children. I disliked how Mr.Monks was making a plan with Fagin to kill Oliver because he didn’t want Oliver to become a leader and have power. I disliked how Mr.Sikes was using Oliver as a shield whenever they were trying to kill Oliver and Nancy helped Oliver recover from the shooting incident. Throughout this movie, I actually enjoyed it and I wonder if Oliver will end up being adopted by Rose later…

Fire is a good servant, helping us with the cooking and providing warmth during those chilly winter nights, but it can also be a bad master when we underestimate its destructive power. It's for this reason that fire needs to be handled with care. Playing with it can be dangerous, and at times can also prove fatal to those unfortunate enough to find themselves in its path. Our next-door neighbours were lucky in that nobody was injured, but the same thing cannot be said about their beloved house. Although it's been ten years now, I can still remember the whole thing as if it were yesterday, and each time, the thought of that terrifying episode makes my blood run cold.…

The most characteristic thing about Oliver is his unprecedented kindness. Despite the fact that he has raised in corrupt surroundings, his purity and virtue are absolute. What is more, even when he is abused and manipulated, Oliver does not become angry or indignant. Oliver’s moral scruples about the holiness of property seem inborn in him. Furthermore, other pauper children use rough idioms, but Oliver, oddly enough, speaks in proper words. His grammatical meticulousness is also inexplicable, as he presumably is not well-educated.…
