Mount Olympus Mount Olympus is the tallest mountain point in Greece. Greeks believed that it was the place on earth or in heaven. Greeks believed that there where 12 gods. Zeus, Hera, Poseidon , Athena, Ares, Apollo, Artemisia, Hermes, Aphrodite, Demeter, Hades, Hephaestus are all of those twelve guys. Hestia turned her place over to Dionysus.

Zeus was the king of gods he had two brothers and three sisters and his father had died. His brothers are Poseidon and Hades. They divided the world between themselves. Zeus took the havens, Poseidon took the sea, and Hades took the underworld. Zeus had a jealous wife named Hera. He also had a bunch of kids who had magic powers.

Athena was born without a mother. Her father is Zeus, and was born right out of Zeus’s brain. She would probity be Zeus favorite. She had a set at Mount Olympus. Ares was the son of Zeus and Hera. He was tall and handsome. His sidekick was Eris, who is the sprit of disagreement, would go anywhere with him. Ares didn’t care who would win the battle he just liked the blood being shed

Apollo and Artemis were twins that were son and daughter of Zeus and Leto. Apollo was the son and Artemis was the daughter. They both loved there mother vary much.

Hermes was Zeus’s youngest son. When he was born Zeus know that he was going to be fun to play with. He was fast to act and was clever. He became a messenger.

Aphrodite was ether born of sea foam or a daughter of Zeus. She was the goddess of love and beauty. She could be nice or men. She was the fairest in the land. She loved to cause pain and damage.

Hera was both Zeus’s wife and his sister. Hestia was another sister who was goddess of home an hearth. Demeter was another sister who was goddess of harvest.
