The only thing that can penetrate me is the strident cry of the cicada that pierces the heart of summer. I am Julian Pullo. I was born in Boston and after visiting it in 2009, I made it my mission to return when I grew up. I was astounded by the weather, urban setting, stores, and all the things to do overall. Another passion of mine is math. I’ve always been good at math but I never realised just how good I was until I took both Geometry and Algebra 2 Honors in the 10th grade and got over 100% in each class. These two passions are what drew me to the movie Good Will Hunting. Not only was this movie a cocktail of all my passions, the character Will Hunting felt relatable. But after overcoming my stubbornness for trying medication, I was able to get on Concerta (a stimulant medication to help me focus) and start high school with a fresh start and use my potential to get good grades. I draw a parallel between my…
