Montezuma's War: A Short Story
It was a cold freezing day while the wind was blowing at our boat while we were looking for some land to conquer. Finally after 2 days of sailing we saw land we move the boat towards that direction. We tossed the anchor over the boat and we jumped down on the land smelled like palm trees and fresh air. As I was walking threw the land and i immediately saw someone he ran to me I was a little nervous of what he was going to say. He said you must be a god to come to this land I looked at him confused I did not reply. I met up with Montezuma it was mid evening cold weather and I was wearing black and red shirt with tight pants that barely fit. Montezuma was wearing a crown and white shirt with stains on it black pants with rips in it. …show more content…
Later that day there leader wanted to talk to me they said I was a god once again.What we came here was for your land now good bye. “We must start a war ,” I said to my shipmate. The war will now start we will kill them and take their land. We will strike tomorrow. My shipmates prepared for battle. They began getting their weapons ready.     Montezuma was the ninth Aztec ruler who lived from 1480-1520. He was in power during one of the key chapters in the history of Mexico, when the Spanish conquistadors arrived on April 21st, 1519. As a young man he was a priest in the temple of the war god that went by the name of Huitzilopochtli, and was so until he came to power over the Aztec people. He came into power after his uncle: Ahuitzotl in 1502, and was known for his pride and superstition.
