I enjoy reading your post and I also enjoy reading your respond Monique because I used to worked in a homeless shelter and in a domestic violence shelter as well. Yes its difficult because they carried out a big luggage of issue in their back and something that make it difficult to help them the way will would like to as a social worker. In my case, when I used listening to their history touch me but at the same time I constantly reminded me that I was there to help them and I was suppose to be strong in order to offer my services. Something that I used to do with my clients was to encourage them to bring up their self-steam because a lot of us going or when through negative and positive situation but what made them strong is the plan they
