Hair Detective

1. Describe the crime that you are investigating in this activity.
In this activity, the crime that is taken place is that the hair products of the boy band got stolen and the tracks lead to the girl’s dressing room.
2. What evidence do you have to identify the culprit of the crime?
The evidence that we have is a piece of hair and glitter trails. Also, by using the tools we can come up with the conclusion.
3. Who stole the hair products? How do you know?
The culprit of the crime is Jade, a member of the girl band. Throughout the testing, I was able to come up with information that matches Jade.

We are trying to find out who was involved in the hit and run accident or if it was simply foul play.
2. Who is one pioneer in autopsy? What did this person contribute to the practice of autopsies?
Mildred Trotter was one pioneer in an autopsy. She contributed methods for determining the age, height, and other characteristics from the dead persons skeletal evidence.
3. How does alcohol affect the body? Give specific examples from the episodes.
Why is evidence important in forensic science? What evidence was important in the episodes? Why?
Alcohol can slow down a drivers thinking and reaction time. Also it affects your liver and can cause diseases. The evidence is important in forensic science because it links everything together. The evidence that is important in the episodes would be the tissue because it shows that his liver contains fatty tissue, which is a result in alcohol use.
