MLM Companies: What You Need To Know

Have you ever wondered about MLM Companies? Melaleuca, Herballife, Amway, Mary Kay,... the list could go on and on. Were you perhaps intrigued by the concept but maybe not really sure if it was all on the up and up?

Sure there are scams in every industry and the Network Marketing or MLM Industry is affected by them too. However, MLM Companies like Melaleuca are not in the category of scams. Many of these companies are solid, well funded, well managed businesses with a non traditional strategy for distribution. If you have been intrigued but not sure where to get started let's start with education.

In order to understand what the MLM Industry offers you need to become educated about it. Let's break the industry down into a few different categories: - MLM Companies like Melaleuca, Shakley, Herbalife... these are the old established companies. They have been around for many years. They are solid companies with solid products that have stood the test of time. The people who were involved with these companies early on have really been a part of why they are where they are today and are handsomely rewarded for their early efforts. - How about the party plans, PartyLite, Pampered Chef, Discovery Toys.... Again many of these MLM companies are good solid companies. Their method for building is an untrained sales force but they have great passion for their product. Unfortunately for many the push to sell sell sell eventually gets tiresome and they get weary. - There are also the slow growths. These are the companies who have been around for 10 or 20 years but just never really made it to momentum. They keep thinking it will be just around the corner but they languish around for many years never really getting to that pinnacle of a massive organization. -Then of course let's think about the "Me Too" companies. These companies are ones that are following in the footsteps of the innovators....
