A Career in ICT Networking/Technical Support
A guide for prospective students seeking Course information on Networking/Technical Support Courses at North Sydney College of TAFE

We have been training students for careers in ICT Networking/Technical Support, from Certificate III to Diploma level, since 1990. During all that time employment opportunities for network/support positions has remained high and demand continues :

A list of the job titles that our Graduates have entered is shown in the Information for the relevant course on the TAFE website (see how to enrol’ over page).

Committed students can qualify for a Diploma in Networking or Systems Administration in 3 semesters (18 months). If you do not have prior knowledge/experience you commence your studies with a Certificate III (6 months), progress to a Certificate IV (6 months) then complete your Diploma in a further 6 - 12 months depending on your study capability.
Concurrently with your TAFE studies we assist you to obtain highly relevant industry certifications from Microsoft and Cisco that can enhance your employment opportunities. These are shown below.
For students who wish to proceed to IT Degree studies there are several excellent articulation opportunities on completion of the Diploma.
