Micromanaging Procrastinator
Managers must sustain a standardized management style with every employee to avoid chances of discrimination. Micromanaging procrastinators due to their poor performance could signal feelings of being discriminated. Therefore, communication is important to build a mutual understanding of the case. Managers are supposed to provide a room for employee’s feedback and suggestions. When employees are encouraged to speak up, they experience a sense of worthiness that benefits the accomplishment of tasks. In addition, communication can serve as a strong evidence to defend the company in termination cases of procrastinators.
