Medical Coding Personal Statement

I hold both a Bachelors Degree in Health Services Administration and a Masters Degree in Public Health. However, in today’s economy, I don’t possess enough work experience in the health care field as it relates to my academic experience that would make me marketable in the workforce of the healthcare industry of today. For this reason, I am pursuing a Certificate in Medical Coding to support the advancement of my career as a Medical and Health Services Manager.
This progression in career comes with much urgency. As a result I have researched programs in which the required courses and training can be completed online and in approximately one year.
