Mechsaucebroa Character Analysis
What is Twitch? It is a place for gamers to live stream their gameplay or interact with their viewers. Twitch users can subscribe, donate, follow and chat with the broadcaster and other people that are watching. The time duration for streams varies from an hour to days. Lately, I’ve been watching, MechSoySauceBroa, one of the known players in MapleStory . I will be referring him as Chuck. He has been streaming every day for the most part and he is very helpful towards the community. The chats usually consist of questions about the game itself and sometimes his personal life. The main focus is his latest stream which is on December 9th, 2016. His live broadcast title was called “[GMS Broa Kaini] Dailies, and Bishop to 200”. Chuck does reveal face-cam to the public. He plays in his bedroom and I noticed that he has many stuffed animals on his bed. He doesn’t wear anything fancy. He wears a white T-shirt, black cap, glasses and earphones. He greets his viewers with a “Hey, what’s up? Welcome to the stream” and proceed to tell the viewers on what he is planning to do during the live broadcast. He encourages the viewers to come join him for boss daily in Broa Kaini . He thanks anyone that follows him and respond to all the chats. His stream has …show more content…
The other medium would be the live-streams that comes out of it. Furthermore, live streams are utilized in a way in which it captures the user’s preference in choosing who’s stream to watch. The key factors are the high-definition graphics that are being displayed, the active chats, and showcasing the person itself in front of the web cam. Perhaps, that is the reason why Chuck currently has 8,920
