I have accomplished many things in my short life-time and although they are small in comparison of what really matters such as skills, abilities and mindsets , these have shaped me into the person I am today. From being class president and working on the voice of students being heard, to being on the dance team and learning how teamwork and passion can truly impact one’s results, to being inducted to the National Honor Society that promoted the importance of academics, community service and participating in state-run competitions, as well as being accepted in the prestigious Peer Assistant Leadership program where students are given the opportunity to mentor a troubled child or a special education student. As an international student I am also very enthusiastic of exploring such a beautiful and unique city such as London. Being a Mexican citizen who spent six years in Texas, I can confirm that being immersed in a different culture is one of the most enriching experiences and I would be truly grateful to get to explore an European country. Diversity is key to a well-rounded education,
