Samples of Short and Long Term Goals
Be Prepared to Answer on Interviews

Most of these people have pretty poor writing skills. The thing is they want to be part of the management tier. They will need to improve on their writing skills to get there. The idea of short and long term goals should come across with these samples. Be sure to do a better job of writing yours.

1. My short term goal is to develop the necessary skills and experience needed in my field.

My long term goal is to climb up the corporate ladder in the organization, to achieve a managerial position. To be meeting clients, discussing their goals and how can I help them as a company

Most importantly, I wish to achieve financial independence.

2. My short term goal is to gain employment in a company where I can use my skills and abilities to meet the needs of the company. I want to be part of a team where I am encouraged to learn new skills and be challenged and rewarded for excellent performance.

my long term I see myself in a top management level position where I will be contributing and sharing my knowledge and experience with others for the betterment of company employees, clients and shareholders.

4. My short term goal is to gain experience, knowledge, and to improve my skills, and my ability to work as a team on the job. Wherein I could probably apply it to my long term goal which is to achieve higher position.

5. Work/Life balance matters :) I did highlight on my intention on my shift preferences so it'll be more to a rotational basis rather then a stagnant one. I initially thought to grow old in CSC if I were given the chance. Ok, back to this question's comments:

My long term goals would be:
- to excel in my job and hopefully suggest some helpful or easier ways of doing some things that will be helpful to my team of workers. - I understand that I would need to attend more trainings on managerial subjects as I was just appointed to a Lead position, so I'll be able to show positive self-growth. - to serve a company where I will be leading a team of individuals who are committed to excellence for the betterment and growth of company. - If given the chance, I would like to climb up the corporate ladder in the organization, to achieve somewhere in the managerial position. 6. my short term goal is get knowledge about that particular field in which i m going to work....and broaden my experience...so that it could be use in my future work

my long term goal is to work in those association which are related to my degree so that i can use and can apply in practically whatever i have learned..and it will help me to get top position by applying theortical knowledge in practical aspets.........

7. My short term goal is learn many things from the company as soon as possible. My long term goal is apply the things, which I had from company to my work field.

8. Short term goal is to be a part of a growing organisation and to learn the skills required to prosper in the organisation.

9. My short term goal is to get admitted in a premier B-school in order to learn the required skills to be an effecient manager...
