Mary Kaldor brings forth the unveiled truths about these wars which she refers to as the ‘new wars’. She entirely blames politics to have a huge impact on what many see as military wars. The genocidal wars are as a result due to lack of legitimacy on the part of various governments. Moreover, she gives examples of various states and regions that have been stroked by such deadly wars as a way of substantiating her allegations. In providing for solutions to the new wars, she emphasizes on the need for a cosmopolitan law enforcement to provide solutions for the genocidal wars witnessed across the globe. In my opinion, as problematic as the critics may view her, Mary Kaldor unravels the new war.
