Maniac Magee Analysis
In the novel Maniac Magee, Jerry Spinelli develops one of the main characters Amanda Beale. The author first develops Amanda Beale to be organized when she meets Jeffery. On page 12, Amanda put all her books orderly in suitcase and brought them to school. She brought the suitcase full of books to school, so her siblings wouldn't crayon them, this is how she met Jeffery. Jeffery thought she was running away. Also, on page 13 Amanda lones Jeffrey a book, and he promises he will bring it back. This shows Amanda being organized because she didn't want her stuff ruined, so she had to organize them. Amanda also showed organization when she told Maniac where she lived, so he could bring the book back to her.
