Everyone faces obstacles in life. The key to success is not to avoid obstacles because that is impossible. Instead, one should take the obstacles and find a way to benefit from said obstacles. The saying "take lemons and make lemonades" is a testament to what many people of various cultures do as they attempt to become part of the story that is american history. However in the quest to do so one must recognize the unique contributions of those before them and understand that America is what it is because of the contributions of the many people from around the world who are now Americans and their descendants. If people begin to assimilate and leave behind the cultural, spiritual , and ethnic diversities that make them who they are many
