Federal Aid: A Personal Statement Analysis
That statement basically means, no matter where you come from, you have to be willing to put your best foot forward in order to succeed. I can relate to that statement very well because I was born outside of the United States. I understood the struggles that I would have to face while growing up because many doors that are open to everyone else are restricted from me just because I am not a citizen. I have made various contributions and put in a lot of hard work these past 20 years of living here. Even with DACA, I am still unable to apply for Federal Aid but that does not hold me back from reaching a higher education.
