Maj Woodard Case Summary
MAJ Woodard served as the Support Operations Officer (SPO) for the Area Support Group-Kuwait. She provided responsive logistics and sustainment for over 50,000 US and coalition forces in the ARCENT area of responsibility (AOR). Additionally, she was selected over two majors, as the interim Director of Logistics (DOL) and responsible for the training, health and welfare of 50 Soldiers, NCO's, Officers and DA Civilians, executing one of CENTCOM largest Kuwait-Base Operations Security Support Service (K-BOSSS) contract valued at $2.7b.

MAJ Woodard successfully analyzed the challenges of DOL and implemented fiscally responsible solutions thereby, facilitating the thirty reoccurring (i.e. garrison) theater contracts were ethically and responsively solicited and awarded, throughout the four military base camps. Through her leadership, DOL has successfully provided oversight to the six aerial DFACs feeding 11.2m US and coalition forces, annually. Specifically, the DOL has increased the DFAC personnel throughput capacity by reopening Oasis ISO the Defense Cooperation Agreement.
